struggle with lust

We live in a world that is saturated with sex. And while there seems to be a collective shrug in our culture regarding our problem with pornography, at the very same time, there’s just outrage against famous men who have sexually assaulted dozens and dozens of women. Where’s the wisdom here? Where’s the path to life and joy and peace? Is there any good news for those who struggle with lust? Absolutely, yes. The book of Proverbs contains a strong warning against lust in your heart toward anyone other than our spouse. But the bigger story of the Bible is the good news of Jesus that brings true and lasting forgiveness and freedom.
