The Gift of Sex
Probably no one in sex ed class ever asked, “What’s the purpose of sex?” (No one wants to be in that class longer than they have to.) So it’s no wonder that our culture is both obsessed and confused about sexuality. According to the bible, sex is a gift from God. The gift of sex is a gift of new life, intimacy, joy, and love. Sex can be a source of pain and shame, but through God’s love and grace, our sexuality can be redeemed and point to a greater story.
