Why Death Had To Die: Everything and everyone dies. We know it. We all feel it. But people avoid thinking or talking about death because they fear it. But the gospel says that in Christ, the last enemy to be destroyed is death. In Christ, the risen King, we have nothing to fear because death is not the end of our story. This is great freedom—freedom to live wholeheartedly and work for the flourishing life for all people knowing full well that our time here and now is limited. Jesus broke the power of death. Let’s live like it!
