finding peace

The good news of Jesus could be called the story of shalom. In the beginning, the world was whole and complete, it was perfect and good—it was perfect shalom (Hebrew for peace). The fall to sin brought the loss of peace that we experience to this day. In Christ, God is restoring peace in people’s lives today, but also promises to fully restore a world of shalom at the return of Jesus. So whether we need healing or mending or anything else to bring wholeness or completeness to our lives, the good news is that we may find this peace in Jesus’ name.
