This Is What Grace Does
Other religions say it is what you do that saves or brings peace. But Christianity says it’s what God has done through the person and work of Jesus Christ that saves and brings peace. Does this mean it doesn’t matter how a Christian lives? By no means! Though we receive salvation by grace, grace is not a passive concept. Grace works in the life of a believer. What does grace do? Grace motivates us to follow Jesus (obey), become like Jesus (holy), and act like Jesus (love). This is what grace does.
