Joseph spent two full years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. What was God doing in Joseph’s life in the middle of that time? God was teaching Joseph patience and humility. He was forming Joseph into the man he needed to be to accomplish his plans through Joseph’s life. What do you do when you’re in the middle of suffering? How can we learn patience in suffering? Remember that God’s timing is perfect, God’s plans are greater, and that God uses suffering to refine us.
