power of pride

There is something foolish and destructive hidden in all our lives. Something underneath all our problems and conflicts. It’s the “me-first-mindset” of pride. Pride is pervasive. And the power of pride is the real problem under our struggle to love God and love other people. What can we do? How can we get past this me-first-mindset? In Jesus Christ, we see one—who deserves the most glory—humble himself to become the servant of all. Through the humility of Jesus and faith in him, there is great hope and power for us to be free from the terrible power of pride.
