A Prayer for the Church: This sermon is part of “The Family of God” series. Prayer is a high value for people today but is not well understood. How do we pray? What should we pray for? The pattern for prayer in the New Testament is to pray to the Father in Jesus’ name by the power of the Spirit. The power of prayer doesn’t come from the strength or eloquence of the one who is praying, but the incomparably great power of the One who listens and responds to even the simplest of prayers. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
