value

The second thing that every kid needs to hear is: you have value. The world says your value is based on your what you do, not on who created you. Your worth is measured by your net worth. Your importance is measured by the number of likes or followers you have. Or, more devastatingly, your value is measured by your failures, struggles, trauma, disabilities, or sin. Kids pick up on this at a very young age. But God’s view of human worth is radically different. From creation to salvation in Christ—you greatly matter to God.
