Every night 50-60 adults come to the Fox Valley Warming Shelter in Appleton for food and a warm/cool, safe place to sleep. Every month on the 4th Sunday of the month a volunteer team from Appleton Gospel provides food, serves dinner, and serves an evening and morning shift at the shelter. Would you join us as we love and serve our neighbors? To get more info, sign up to serve, or see what items are needed, click the event link.
Many people believe the world operates according to the “survival of the fittest.” But according to Jesus, a life of faith is most recognizable by its attitude toward the least of these—those who need food, clothes, shelter, healing, and a friend/advocate. Jesus is willing to identify with those who are the most vulnerable among us. The return of Jesus and subsequent Judgment Day will put an end to the injustice of this world. But until that Day, there is still time to consider the fruit of your life, make a plan, and demonstrate the gospel by serving the most vulnerable.
