Being Human

What does it mean to be a human being? This is no small question. Being human means to be a living creature, made by God, in the image and likeness of God. Because of Who made us and how we were made, every person has value and dignity as an image-bearer of God. People have many differences, from gender to race to wealth, and so on, but our differences do not define our humanity. Sin distorts our humanity, but Jesus Christ—the true image of God, the perfect human—can restore our humanity and empower us to stand up for the value and dignity of every person. Listen here:
