False Prophets and False Disciples: Jesus never sugar-coated the dangers of following his way. One danger relates to false prophets or teachers who seek to deceive or mislead for selfish gain. Another danger relates to false disciples who trust religious works in the place of a relationship with God. Can we guard against false teaching? Can we have true assurance of faith? Absolutely.
