We live in an angry world. Everyone seems to be mad at everyone. From irritation all the way up to rage, anger is a powerful emotion that seems to live so close to the surface of our lives. Is there any good news for those who struggle with anger? Absolutely, yes. It starts with the understanding that you are not the only person on this planet. (surprise!) And the painful realization that you cannot control what other people decide to do. But by the grace of God, you can learn to be slow to anger, like God is slow to anger. God is calling us to a new path in Christ, a path of peace.
