Justification by Faith: This sermon is part of Galatians: The Gospel of Grace series. One of the central doctrines of Christianity is justification by faith. We all long to be justified; we long to to prove ourselves to (and to receive the approval of) other people. This longing is a sign pointing to our need to be justified or “declared righteous” by God. However, all have sinned and stand guilty (not righteous) before God. The good news of the gospel is that we are not justified by works, but by faith in Jesus Christ. This means that there is hope for everyone, we can have assurance of our faith, and we owe God everything.
