As a follower of Christ, what do you want to your legacy to be? What do you want to be said about your life when you’re gone? 50/100 years from now? For King David, his faith and his relationship with God sustained a lifetime of worship. At the end of his life, he was still worshiping God, leading the people in worship, and making plans to help future generations of people worship. For David, worship was his legacy. Three things to remember in leaving a legacy of worship:
- Worship is a team sport.
- Worship is costly.
- Worship is supposed to be fun!
This sermon is part of the Shepherd to King series. Recorded on Sept 3, 2017, by Pastor David Parks, on 1 Chronicles 29. Listen/download here:
