spiritual battle

After a time of spiritual growth, there often comes a time of spiritual attack to distract, discourage, or destroy what has been gained. Just as we face physical, emotional, and relational battles at times, so also will we face spiritual battles. So what do we do? How do we face our adversary, fight our battles, and (more importantly) how do we win? In the gospel, we see that Jesus is our true Warrior who fought and won the ultimate battle. Now, we are given his armor—the armor of God—to stand firm, together in Christ.
