struggle with pride

Everyone struggles with pride. Why? Because I am the main character in my life’s story. I am the lead and everyone else is simply playing a supporting role. Is there any good news for those who struggle with pride? Absolutely, yes. In the gospel, we see that because of the great humility of Jesus, God has exalted him to the highest place in heaven and on earth. This life is his story and he is the main character. Humility starts by genuinely valuing others. But ultimately, we can be freed from the bonds of pride because humility is the way of Jesus. Who is the main character in your life’s story?
