The Fruit of Faith:�This sermon is part of The Gospel According to Mark series.�Upon arriving in Jerusalem, Jesus uses a fruitless fig tree to pronounce a judgement against the temple system for failing to bear the fruit of faith. Jesus calls his disciples to root their lives through�faith in God. The fruit of this life of faith can be seen in bold prayer, radical forgiveness, and access to outsiders. This life is only possible when Jesus becomes the fulfillment of the temple for us. The root of a fruitful life is faith in Christ.
