Light for the Gentiles: This sermon is part of The Gospel According to Mark series. Jesus’ healing work in the Gentile regions around Judea show that the gospel is for all people. As the Apostle Paul says, “it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” But why is there a distinction between Jew and Gentile in the first place? Where does this come from? In the story of salvation history, we see God’s amazing wisdom and work in the unfolding plan to bring salvation and life to all peoples, through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
